Terms and conditions

Below, we present our terms and conditions. Anybody who accesses this website (helpsnowboards.com) and/or buys products on it, agrees to accept these terms and conditions.

HELP SNOWBOARDS SOCIAL COLLABORATION:

We commit to allocate 2% of the amount of all our sales to a social action. 2% will be calculated on the total amount paid by each client, excluding the amount corresponding to shipping costs.

Play&Train association will receive the 2018/2019 season sales 2% percentatge as a social action. We consider that the 2018/2019 season begins on May 1, 2018 and ends on April 30, 2019.

PURCHASE PROCESS:

To buy an item you must first choose that item, select the desired size and click on the “Add to cart” option. You will be automatically guided to the cart.

If you want to add more items to the cart you can go back to the store and keep adding the items you want.

When you do not want to add more items and want to proceed with the purchase, you must go to the cart and select the option “Proceed to checkout”.

On the next page you must enter the shipping and billing information. Check if your order is correct, and select the payment method you wish to use. Next, you must click on the two boxes where you accept the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and give your consent for the appropriate processing of your data, and select the option “Place order”.

Finally, you must make the payment using the method you have selected, and we will proceed with the order.

PRICE:

The original price is the one that appears on our website outside reservation or promotional periods.

During the reservation or promotion periods, the original price is crossed out with a horizontal line.

The original price includes the value added tax in Spain at the applicable legal tax rate. In some cases it does not include shipping costs.

PAYMENT:

We will send you the order once we have received the payment of the total amount of your order.
The available payment methods to make the payment are:

Credit or debit card:

We accept payments by Visa and Mastercard credit or debit card.

Payments are 100% safe. We have an advanced anti-fraud system. It includes Secure Electronic Transaction (SET) from Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode, in addition to other anti-fraud measures.

You must select the option “Pay with card” as a payment method during the purchase process. After verifying the order, the system will guide you to a page to enter your card data safely. We recommend you to have your credit or debit card information at hand. As soon as you send this information we will send you an email confirming the order and we will proceed with the shipment.

PayPal:

PayPal is an online payment service to pay quickly and safely. You need to sign up in PayPal and create a PayPal account.

You must select the option “PayPal” as payment method during the purchase process. After confirming your order the system will redirect you to the PayPal payment process. After completing the payment process, your order will be processed.

Bank Transfer:

With this payment method you can make the payment by a bank transfer to our account. As soon as we receive the transfer we will send your order.

You must select the option “Direct bank transfer” as a payment method during the purchase process. When confirming the order we will send you an email with instructions on how to make the payment.

You will simply have to make a bank transfer with the total amount of the order to our bank account. As a transfer concept, you must enter the order number. The payment can not have any charge for the beneficiary.

SHIPPING COSTS:

The shipping costs that the customer will assume depends on the area to which the order is sent. In the “Shipping” section of our “Support” page, the shipping costs for each area are detailed. We do not send orders to areas that do not appear in said section of said page.

In the shipments to Andorra, the client can select the option “Local pickup” so the shipment is free of charge. In this case the client must pick up the order at the MRW office of La Seu d’Urgell in a maximum of 7 days, counting from the reception of the order in the office.

For shipments to the Canary Islands, the customer will be responsible for customs costs, in addition to the € 14 of the fixed price of the shipment.

Shipping costs will be calculated automatically when you enter the shipping and billing information. We recommend you review them before clicking on the option “Place order”.

In the cart you do not need to calculate the shipping costs, but you can do so if you wish by clicking on “Calculate shipping cost”.

The established prices of the shipping costs are the final prices (total), so they include the value added tax in Spain at the applicable legal tax rate.

DELIVERY TIME:

The delivery time of each order will depend on the area to which the order is sent. In the “Shipping” section of our “Support” page, the average delivery times for each area are detailed. In the indicated delivery time we always take into account only business days.

We will do our utmost so the orders do not take longer than indicated. In the case of a shipment being delayed you can contact us at [email protected] or call 626 825 518 and we will do our best to solve it as soon as possible. In these cases, we are not responsible, but we will do all we can to solve it as quickly as possible.

The delivery times to the Canary and Balearic Islands are different to the rest of Spain. We recommend consulting the “Shipping” section of our “Support” page”.

DISCOUNT CODES:

If you have a discount code you must enter it in the cart page, in the “Coupon code” box and select “Apply coupon” and “Update cart”, before selecting “Proceed to checkout”.

The discount codes are applied to the original price and can not be accumulated with other discount codes or with other promotions or discounts.

All discount codes have an expiry date.
Some discount codes are limited to certain products.
Some discount codes are limited to a maximum number of products.
Some discount codes can only be used once.

You can transfer the discount codes to another person privately, but you are not authorized to post it on any social network, website, blog or any other medium, either digital or physical, that is open to the public.

WITHDRAWAL:

The customer has a period of 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the product to exercise his withdrawal right without incurring in any cost to him.

To exercise the withdrawal right, the client must inform Climent Raventós Solé by email to [email protected] or by sending a letter to Avda. Lluis Barba 9A, C.P. 17538, Das, Girona, Spain, within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the product.

To cancel the contract, the client can use and send the following disclaimer form if desired, to the attention of Climent Raventós Solé, by sending it to the email address [email protected] or to the postal address Avda. Lluis Barba 9A, C.P. 17538, Das, Girona, Spain.

Form:

I hereby inform you that I cancel our contract for the sale of the following product:

  • Order number
  • Item
  • Consumer name
  • Consumer address
  • Date
  • Signature (if presented on paper)

If the withdrawal right has been correctly managed by the customer, we will refund the full amount of the order to the customer, including any shipping costs that the customer would have paid for the delivery of their order, using the same payment method used to make the purchase.

The cost of returning the order will be borne by the customer.

CHANGES, RETURNS AND REFUNDS:

Without prejudice to the legal right of withdrawal, the customer has 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of the product to change or return a product.

Change or refund for malfunction or error when receiving the product:

If upon receiving the package, the product is damaged or is not what you ordered, you can return it or change it at no cost.

It will be considered a flaw if it does not meet quality standards.

Change or return without reason:

If when you receive the package, you do not like it because it is not what you were expecting, because the size is not right for you, or for anything else, you do not have to give us explanations. You can return or change the product in the first 30 calendar days after receiving the package.

In the section “Changes and returns” of our “Support” page, the change or return costs are detailed depending on the customer zone, when they are for no reason.

Procedure to change or return an order:

  1. Send us an email to [email protected] or call us at +34 626 825 518 and tell us:
  • Order number
  • Name and surname
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Complete collection address (address, zip code, town/city, state/province and  country).
  • Date and time at which we can make the collection or change (working days, from 2 days from your change or return request).
  • Tell us the reason for your change or return.
    • Flaw (the item arrived with some damage or flaw)
    • Error (it is not the item you ordered)
    • No reason
  • In case of flaw or error, tell us what is the flaw or error.
  • Tell us if it is a Change or Return.
  • If it is a change, tell us what product or products you want in exchange for the one you are returning (indicating model and size).
  1. We will organize the pick-up with the transport company and we will send you an email informing you when they will pick up the parcel.* If we do not have stock of the product that you have requested in exchange for yours, we will let you know so you can decide if you want to exchange it for another product or you prefer a refund.
  1. Pack the item as it was when you received it so that it is well protected, and hand it to the transport company when they come to pick it up.
  1. If it is an change due to flaw or error: when we receive the package, we will check that it is a flaw or that there was an error in the shipment, and we will send you the product or products that you have requested in exchange.

If the amount of the product that you return is less than the amount of the product or products that you have ordered in exchange, we will ask you to pay us the difference to our bank account and we will send you the package after receiving the payment. Never before.

If the amount of the product that you return is higher than the product or products that you have requested in exchange, we will refund the difference through the same option that you used for the payment of the order.

* If there is no flaw or error, we will consider that it is a return without reason.

  1. If it is an exchange without reason: when we receive the package, we will check that it is in perfect condition and we will send you the product or products that you have requested in exchange.

If the cost of the change is not free (check the table above), we will ask you to make the payment of the change to our bank account and we will send you the package after receiving the payment. Never before.

If the amount of the product that you return is less than the amount of the product or products that you have ordered in exchange, we will ask you to pay us the difference to our bank account and we will send you the package after receiving the payment. Never before.

If the amount of the product that you return is higher than the product or products that you have requested in exchange, we will refund the difference through the same option that you used for the payment of the order.

* If the product is used or damaged we will not accept the exchange and the customer will be responsible for all costs.

  1. If it is a refund for flaw or error: when we receive the package, we will check that it is a defect or that there was an error in the shipment, and we will refund the money by the same method that you used for the payment of the order.

* If there is no fault or error, we will consider that it is a return without reason.

  1. If it is a return without reason: when we receive the package, we will check that it is in perfect condition and we will refund the money through the same method that you used for the payment of the order, subtracting the cost of the return depending on the country from which the return is made (check the table above).

If the product is used or damaged we will not accept the return and the customer will be responsible for all expenses. To accept the return, the product must be in the same condition in which the customer received it.

WARRANTY:

We provide you with a 2 year warranty on all our snowboards.
If before the 2 years have passed since the purchase, the board has some flaw that you consider to be a manufacturing defect, you can claim it as follows:

  1. Take at least two photographs of the damage, one so we can see where the damage is and another to see the detail of it.
  2. Send us the photographs, along with the details of the purchase and an explanation of the damage, to the email address [email protected]
  3. We will analyze the damage and we will give you an answer in a maximum of 15 days.
  • In the case of considering that it is a manufacturing defect, we will accept the claim and proceed to replace the board free of charge, following the procedure of an exchange.
  • In the case of not considering it a manufacturing defect, we will not accept the claim, we will explain the reasons and we will look for an alternative solution.

2018-2019 HELP SNOWBOARDS PRE ORDERS:

After writing your data and click on “Pre Order” you are requesting a discount code to be able to buy the product in the future with a 20% discount on the original price.

You will receive this code at the email address you provide in the “Pre Order data”. If you did not receive it, you can send us an email to [email protected]

You can make pre orders through email until September 30, 2018 at 23:59h, and through our website until September 21, 2018 at 23:59h.

The discount codes obtained through the pre order will be valid for purchases on helpsnowboards.com between October 1 and November 15, 2018, both days included.

You can buy as many items as you wish with one single discount code.

You can use the discount code as many times as you want, within the validity period of said code.

In the event that when you are going to make the purchase of the pre ordered product there is not enough in stock, we will not be responsible for this. In this case, please let us know by sending an email to the email address [email protected] and we will do our best to give you an optimal solution.
