How long have you been snowboarding? How and why did you start?
I tried snowboarding at 7 years old and at 9 I started training every weekend with the Maguila club. I lived with my cousins (Carlos and Nina Manich, great snowboarders), I tried the snowboard for first time with them one night in Masella. We walked up and down snowboarding, that day is etched in my mind.
What does snowboarding mean to you?
It has been practically everything during my childhood.
What has been your best moment as a professional rider?
When I was with the team, a year or two before I left, competing in European Cups, Junior World Cups, some World Cup …
If I have to choose one moment, it would surely be the Junior World Champs in Valmalenco, Italy. It was my second World Champs, with María Hidalgo and Aleix López. I have a very good memory, the round fit me super well.
How was your last season (2019/2020)? What would you highlight?
The season was well. I hadn’t many snowboarding days on my own because I have been working and studying, but the days I have snowboarded have been very cool. I did new tricks like the bs12 double and the double frontflip and have really enjoyed it.
What plans do you have for the next season (2020/2021)?
My goals for next season are to be able to do more snowboarding and continue to enjoy as before.
